Anything Like Him: A Narrator Talks To Two Kinds Of Viewer

The narrator pauses Radark's story to speak to two kinds of viewer: those carrying everyone else, and those only reading along. She tells the first group they already know what that feels like, and that she would rather not tell them what they have already lived. She tells the second group, which includes herself, that they want to know whether Radark ever makes peace with the demons. Then she goes on with the story. Carrying everyone else is something many people do quietly, and few ever talk about it.
